Animato Piano Duo is a highly accomplished ensemble consisting of Anne Dawson on piano and Chris Dawson on double bass.
Anne has been playing and studying classical music since the age of 8 and has worked as a professional accompanist and music tutor for many years, in addition to playing viola in string quartets and various orchestras.
At 18, Chris became a professional musician. He has studied classical double bass and has played in orchestras as well as playing jazz with many of Australia's finest jazz musicians.
We provide the very best professional-level equipment.Our piano is a high quality full-size 88 note digital keyboard.
We have an extensive classical repertoire to accompany your wedding ceremony and also jazz standards and well-known favourites to set the tone for further celebration.
The Animato Piano Duo often becomes a trio when we add violin or classical/jazz guitar. We can even add an excellent and sensitive trumpet player for jazz standards.
